The ARC International team worked closely with the Johnson Siding Fire District Building Committee to provide a facility that would replace their existing fire station and serve as a new central staging headquarters. Housing, offices, shops, vehicle parking, equipment and wash bays allow the volunteer response team to better serve the Central Black Hills area communities in providing life-saving and Fire protection operations for the community. The building exhibits a western South Dakota-style vernacular architecture designed to make a civic statement, adds value and complement the surrounding community and landscape.
